Meet the Team
Steve - Owner / Optician
Steve was born in Melbourne and moved to Ballarat 22 years ago. Married to Marie, they have 3 children. Steve has been in the optical industry for 35 years and is very knowledgeable. He commenced his career with Coles & Garrard.
Steve loves his footy, both local and AFL and he supports local footy and other sporting clubs. At home, he enjoys restoring his vintage car, being a 'handy man' and just relaxing when they’re aren’t jobs to do.
Marie - Owner / Optician
Born in France and came to Australia in the 1970s. Marie moved to Ballarat 22 years ago and has been working in the Optical industry for over 35 years. She is very passionate about helping customers and making sure their visual needs are met as well as making them feel fabulous in their new specs.
Marie and Steven have 3 children who all grew up and now also work in Ballarat. When not at work, Marie loves to spend time at home with her cats, dogs and horses. She loves cooking up a storm, gardening and enjoying the peace and quiet of country living. Marie is also involved in different local sporting clubs.
Jason - Optometrist
Jason graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2012 with a High Distinction and participated in an internship at the University of Waterloo in Canada. He has worked in the Geelong & Ballarat region for over 9 years.
Jason takes pride in providing individualized care to all members of the community in a caring and comfortable setting. His clinical interests include glaucoma, macula degeneration, dry eyes and complex contact lens fittings.
In his spare time, he enjoys cooking up a feast.
